Our Hit Songwriters in the Round return Sunday to jump into the Nashville All-Stars concert!

Karyn Rochelle is a country music singer/songwriter and artist originally from Wilmington, NC.  She has lived in Nashville, TN for the past 24 years building a career out of creating music.  Karyn has written songs for many artists, including Trisha Yearwood, Kellie Pickler, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Sara Evans,  LeAnn Rimes, LeeAnn Womack, Terri Clark and more.  Her first song ever recorded was by the legendary king of country music, George Jones.  Currently in 2020, Karyn is writing the music for a major motion picture musical and touring to promote her own albums.

Dave Gibson, former lead singer for The Gibson Miller Band, winner of ACM Vocal Duo Group of the Year Award in 1994, is preparing to resurge his solo career.  He will be releasing his solo album “The Good Drugs” in 2016.

The big-hearted Arkansas farm kid with a voice to match chose a career in service to others.  Slowly and often unintentionally, the power of crafting lyrics and melody drew Lance in a new direction. Eventually, he realized he'd returned to the exact place he'd started – the place he was meant to be all along.  Already a chart-topping songwriter (Kelsea Ballerini's "Love Me Like You Mean It"), Carpenter has continually earned the notice of fans and gatekeepers, even without meaning to. Now, he's poised to capture their attention on a much bigger scale.

Nashville-based guitarist, songwriter, and singer, Meg Williams, performs at notable venues across the country with her full band, as a solo/duo act, and as a guitarist for other artists. She competed in the 2019 International Blues Challenge (Memphis, TN), representing the Kentucky Blues Society after winning the Kentucky Blues Challenge. Meg was additionally selected as the house band director & guitarist for the International Women in Blues Showcase during the IBC's for both the 2019 & 2020 showcases. Meg signed with Nola Blue Records in 2019 and went on to record her full length album, ‘Take Me As I Am: The Muscle Shoals Sessions,’ at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals. Meg’s album has since been played on Sirius XM’s Bluesville and radio stations world-wide – 'Take Me As I Am' has reached #27 on Top 50 Blues Album Charts & #9 on Top 50 Blues Rock Album Charts (Roots Music Report). Meg's song 'Little Bit of the Devil' reached #2 Top 50 Blues Rock songs & #9 Top Blues Song (Roots Music Report). Earning high respect and feedback internationally, ‘Take Me As I Am’ won a Bronze Medal for the 2019 Global Music Awards.

Following the Songwriters in the Round everyone is welcome to the after party at the Hampton Inn Landfall. A casual reunion of good friends, good food, good drinks and good music.  Fortunately Wilmywood has many talented friends that come together to jam out during the Porch Sittin'.
